I was first introduced to Suzanne by the Realtor I hired when assisting my elderly uncle in selling his condo. Suzanne is extremely organized and resourceful. She immediately made herself available to declutter the condo and then helped to empty it completely a few months later when it sold. Suzanne even cleared my uncle’s room at a local care facility (and properly dealt with health equipment, etc) after he passed away, and did so with sensitivity and grace. I really appreciated that she took charge and was able to work independently, that she kept in touch with frequent updates, and always responded to my calls and messages promptly, as I do not live in Victoria. After 30 years we were leaving a 3000-sq foot house and had way too much to take to an 1100-sq foot condo. And my husband was trying to recover from knee surgery and then a broken foot. I literally could NOT have done it without Suzanne. She was a lifesaver! Once she explained the basics, it was easy to categorize things to either keep, donate, sell or recycle. I had the pleasure of working with Suzanne last year when selling our mum's 4 bed/bath house with a full basement, two car garage, and large garden. It was an overwhelming job for the family and one that my mum was reluctant to undertake, as she was moving because of health concerns. M loved her home and took pride in all her special belongings, so Suzanne and the family had an uphill battle at first. Suzanne's patience, persistence and understanding eventually won my mum over and we were thrilled with the end result. Because of Suzanne's excellent contacts and relationships in the consignment community, we were able to recoup well over twice her modest fee. In the end only one item had to go to the dump, everything else was sold, consigned or donated, even the foodstuffs were taken to a composting facility. I don't know what we would have done without Suzanne, she is so positive, organized and works incredibly hard and quickly. She honestly loves what she does.
